Dade AHEC has assembled an extraordinary lineup of speakers to address topics critical to women here in South Florida.  This year's events will not only include a full conference day, but the weekend will begin with A Night at the Theatre hosted in c acura ollaboration with the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation, and end with a March on Alzheimer's hosted in collaboration with the Alzheimer's Association Southeast Florida Chapter.  Come to one event or come to all and enjoy!

•   We will begin on Friday evening, May 6th, with the inaugural presentation of A Night at the Theatre at the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts.  A Night at the Theatre will be hosted in collaboration with Miami-Dade AHEC and the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation, with a portion of the net proceeds being donated directly to the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation.  The evening will begin with a pre-show dinner at PRELUDE by Barton G, including a full 3-course prix fixe menu.  After dinner, guests will enjoy a special performance of "Celebrity Autobiography," the uproarious series featuring actual superstar memoirs acted out live on stage by a first-rate comedic ensemble.  This year's cast includes MARIO CANTONE ("Sex and the City"), RACHEL DRATCH ("Saturday Night Live"), SHARON GLESS ("Burn Notice"), ROGER BART ("Desperat corsa ferrari e Housewives"), plus the show's creators EUGENE PACK and DAYLE REYFEL.

•   On Saturday, May 7th, Miami-Dade AHEC's 3rd Annual Women's Health Conference will be presented at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino.  We have assembled an amazing lineup of renowned local speakers—experts, leaders, authors, entrepreneurs and innovators.  This year's Women's Health Conference will not be just another day of long, dry lectures, car news but an uplifting day of motivation and stimulation designed to help women from all walks of life become Architects of Change®!

•   We will conclude on Sunday morning, May 8th at Oleta River State Park by having families, friends, community members and conference attendees join together for a Mother's Day AWAREness March on Alzheimer's.  Participants will have an opportunity to learn more about Alzheimer's disease while also enjoying this 5K waterfront walk around Florida's largest urban park, located on Biscayne Bay.  A portion of all tickets sales to this event will be donated to the Alzheimer's Association Southeast Florida Chapter.
